Where you live sets the tone for your life. Your home can be a source of stress and frustration or it can bring you joy and inspiration daily. The difference? Simplifying your space. Home organizing allows you to discover what you really need in life and, in turn, what's just complicating things.

If your space is working against you, I get it.

There are two things you should probably know about me. One, I haven’t always been organized. In fact, for a good part of my life, I might have been considered exceptionally disorganized. And two, I don’t think being organized is the most important thing in the world. (Believe it or not, I don’t spend all my free time at The Container Store.) Outside of Orderly I’ve earned a psychology degree, I work as a touring musician, and I love thrift shopping and spending time in nature.

So, you might ask, why did I become a professional organizer?

Long story short, I moved to New York City. And I lived in a very tiny apartment.

Life was overwhelming. So many people, all the loud noises and things to buy. I loved going to work and designing filing systems, arranging my desk just so, and helping others to do the same. However, coming home felt as stressful as my commute.

It was in my own apartment that Orderly was born.

I cut back on what I owned and designed clever storage solutions for the rest. I transformed my home from a place to eat, sleep, and store my things into a tranquil escape from city life.

When I simplified my space, my creativity, happiness, and general sense of well being flourished.

I founded Orderly to share that peace with you.
